On Friday, March 27, 2026, the President of Red MAMLa attended the CXXIV Board Meeting of the Central American Commision for Maritime Transport – COCATRAM, where she delivered a presentation on the institutional framework and regulations of the Network. She referred to the work carried out, the actions currently being implemented, and future projects that are aligned with the Global Strategy of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) for Women’s Associations in the Maritime Sector, as well as the Red MAMLa Strategy 2025–2029.

It was noted that the successes of Red MAMLa involve support for its membership from Maritime Authorities, inviting them to support the Network’s activities in each of their countries and to increase the visibility of women on the official platforms and websites of Maritime Authorities.
