WORKSHOP "USE OF IMODOCS PLATFORM" WAS VERY WELL-ATTENDED

This online workshop was organized by the Maritime Technical Affairs Committee, and was attended by representatives of the maritime and port sector of the region, as well as Permanent Representatives, Alternates and Honorary Members of the Association.

The activity began at 10:00 hrs (GTM-5), with welcoming remarks delivered by the Director of the Committee, Maria Fernanda Ucciani.

Subsequently, the Workshop Instructor, Noelia Mabel López, Red MAMLa Member from 2017 to 2022, was introduced and proceeded to give the participants a brief conceptual summary of the IMODOCS Platform, highlighting the advantages of this free consultation tool for Member States, Maritime Authorities and public users.

Next, a visit was made to the Virtual Library, showing how to follow up on a specific topic and how to review files of technical meetings. 

In this regard, it is important to mention that IMODOCS collects all types of documentation officially issued by the International Maritime Organization (Official Journals, Reports, Assembly Resolutions, Council Documents, Conference Documents, Circulars, IMO Letters, etc.), acting as a web services database.

At the close of the Workshop, the participants expressed their gratitude for this type of initiative, as they considered it to be very useful, and extended their congratulations to the Organizing Committee and Red MAMLa for generating these educational spaces for the region.
