NEW IMO REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE WOMEN IN MARITIME PROGRAM

The International Maritime Organization, through the Maritime Development Division, informed the community of women's associations in the area, about the new appointed representative for the leadership of the Women in Maritime Program Secretariat.

The new representative is Ms. Neisha Contant, who holds an MBA Degree, is a qualified Quality and Gender Auditor: ISO 9001:2015 and holds ILOPGA:2021 Facilitator Certification.

Within her career, which includes 30 years of experience in business administration, highlights her participation in projects of great relevance for Microsoft UK and her entry to the IMO in 2000, where she has successfully held various positions associated with her area of expertise. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Contant worked in the IMO Department of Member State Audit and Implementation Support (DMSA&IS).
