MEETING OF WOMEN IN MARITIME IN GUATEMALA: PROJECTIONS 2025
Recently, the Member State of Guatemala held an important meeting of women in the maritime sector, within the framework of the work of the Latin America Women in Maritime Association (Red MAMLa).
During the meeting, work plans for the year 2025 were discussed, with the aim of continuing to promote the empowerment and inclusion of women in the maritime sector in the region. The meeting highlighted the need to create spaces for the integral development of women in this key sector for the economic development of Latin America.
The actions of Red MAMLA have been fundamental in the integration of women in the maritime and port sector, strengthening regional ties and promoting a more inclusive and equitable environment.
Likewise, this event reaffirms Guatemala's commitment to women professionals in the sector and underscores the importance of working together to achieve gender equality in the maritime and port sector.
