MAMLa NETWORK MEMBER RECOGNIZED AMONG THE 100 WOMEN IN TRANSPORTATION AND LOGISTICS 2026

As part of the second edition of the “100 Women in Transportation and Logistics 2026” recognition, organized by Mexico’s specialized media outlet Grupo T21, Estefanía Leal, an Associate Member of the Latin American Women Maritime Authorities Network (MAMLa Network), was honored by earning 29th place on this prestigious list.

This initiative aims to highlight and recognize women whose leadership, professional achievements, and impact are making significant contributions to the advancement of the transportation and logistics sector. The 2026 edition reaffirms the industry’s commitment to showcasing female talent and promoting greater representation at every level of the value chain.

The award ceremony took place on July 3 at the Sofitel Mexico City Reforma Hotel, bringing together leading professionals from across the sector for an event dedicated to recognition, strategic networking, and reflection. The program featured the panel discussion, “Leadership Across the Supply Chain: A Different Perspective,” where executives from prominent companies shared their insights on the industry’s challenges and opportunities, along with networking sessions designed to foster partnerships and future collaboration.

At the MAMLa Network, we proudly celebrate this well-deserved recognition awarded to Estefanía Leal, who currently serves as Maritime and Port Sector Legal Consultancy. With more than two decades of experience, she has built an outstanding career at the intersection of international trade, national security, maritime law, and customs operations. Her strategic leadership, legal expertise, and contributions to strengthening the maritime sector’s institutional framework have made her a respected leader in the industry.

Today, we celebrate Estefanía as an inspiring example. This recognition not only honors her remarkable professional career but also reflects the growing impact of women in the maritime industry—something that fills all of us at the MAMLa Network with great pride.

At the MAMLa Network, we firmly believe that every individual achievement moves us all forward. Every step ahead creates new opportunities for others and reminds us of who we are, what we can become, and all that we can continue building together.

Congratulations, dear Estefanía! May you continue to leave your wake upon the sea!
