RED MAMLa PRESENTS ITS STRATEGIC PLAN TO IMO DELEGATES

As part of the activities associated with the celebration of Women's Day in the Maritime Sector, the Latin American Women in Maritime Association - Red MAMLa, held the Conversatory "Together Charting Directions" in one of the Halls of the International Maritime Organization - IMO, in London.

The activity was attended by IMO representatives from the Technical Cooperation Division, Carlos Salgado, Head of the Latin America and Caribbean Section and Mariana Noceti, Coordinator of the "Women In Maritime" Program, together with delegates from Latin American Member States at the IMO.

The purpose of the discussion was to share experiences, strategic relationship actions and good practices applied by our organization to promote the inclusion and leadership of Latin American women in the maritime, port and logistics sector.

The presentation was given by Elvia Bustavino, President of Red MAMLa, who presented to the attendees the Organization's Strategic Plan, its purpose, and the actions developed during the last period based on the Strategic Axes and under the principles of Training, Visibility, Recognition and Empowerment of Latin American Women.

She also referred to the Future Plans and the actions planned to strengthen collaborative work in the Latin American Member States, together with the consolidation of new Strategic Alliances.

At the end of the presentation, participants exchanged opinions and experiences, contributing to a dynamic of feedback and mutual collaboration.
